These courses can be taken either:
1. To fulfill state home study curriculum requirements.
2. In addition to courses that students are taking at their current school.
Support services include:
1. Guidance in developing a Minimum Course of Study (MCOS) required by the state.
2. Guidance in selecting curriculum and materials.
3. Periodic group workshops on instructional methodologies.
We have licensed teachers who will review the student’s curriculum and the student’s content knowledge and/or skills in each subject area of the minimum course of study.
In addition to the offerings above, we anticipate conducting 6-8 week enrichment workshops for small groups. Seminars will based on interest but could include topics such as: Creative Writing, Project-Based Learning with a focus on social responsibility, Leadership skills, Introduction to Spanish, Math Challenge (for different age groups / math levels).
